Making an Impact in Education

Making an Impact is Entrusts new campaign to celebrate the incredible success they’ve had on individuals, education, businesses, and the wider economy.

Capita and Staffordshire County Council, who came together to create Entrust, are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of children and young people – both locally and nationally. Entrust has supported educational establishments across England to improve outcomes since 2013.

Creating the joint venture allowed both parties to develop a shared vision. It combines the best of the public sector working – the knowledge and expertise in delivering services to schools – with the commercial acumen of the private sector. And it has enabled a strong focus on outcomes from the start, including educational development for all and creating the foundations for economic prosperity across the county.

Entrust are pleased to launch their Making an Impact report which highlights the difference they and their partners made during the academic year 2016/17.

Their success can be evidenced from the growing number of children attending good or outstanding schools in Staffordshire. 84% of Staffordshire pupils now attend good or outstanding schools compared to 63% in 2012. This translates to over 25,000 pupils receiving a better standard of education. Entrust have expertise in school improvement, special educational needs and inclusion, property and maintenance, technology and software solutions, financial management, workforce development and are a key provider of outdoor learning programmes including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the National Citizen Service.

Their achievements are underpinned by their vision ‘to inspire futures’ by making a difference, delivering what they promise, and having a can-do approach. Entrust are proud of what they have accomplished and by building ontheir  reputation for excellence and delivering what they promise, they want to help make every school in England a good school, ensuring every child and young person gets the education they deserve.

School performance in Staffordshire has improved, with 21% more pupils attending Staffordshire schools judged good or outstanding since 2012.
